This is very Important Note: The waterproof connector of outdoor lighting strip is the key to protect the service life of the strip! Cutting the connector will cause the strip to lose its waterproof function, which will easily lead to short-circuit, leakage and other safety accidents, and ultimately lead to the scrap of the strip!
In the past ,we found that some of strip connectors were cut as shown the follows and then the lights did not work.
,In order to prevent the construction workers on-site cutting risk, please be sure to do:
Enhance communication: Before construction, clearly inform the construction personnel of the importance of waterproof connectors, as well as the serious consequences of cutting the connectors.
On-site supervision: Arrange for specialised on-site supervision, focusing on the connector part, and stop improper operation in time.
Clear labelling: Stick eye-catching labels on the connectors, such as 'no cutting', 'cutting is not waterproof', etc., to serve as a warning.
Reserved location: reserve enough installation position for the construction personnel to avoid cutting the connections due to insufficient space
Strict acceptance: After the construction is completed, carefully check whether the connector is intact, and carry out power test to ensure that the light strip works properly.
