Taking Electrostatic Protection To Improve Quality Of LED Street Lights

The electrostatic voltage that the human body can feel is usually around 2000 volts,but 100 volts can damage the electronic components. LED chip is the core component of LED street lamp. The static electricity will generate electric shock to the LED chip, resulting in damage or failure of the chip, and affecting the brightness and life of LED street lamp. During the assembly process of LED street lamp, static electricity will interfere with the electronic components and circuit boards, which lead to misoperation or damage in the assembly process and then affect the quality and performance of LED street lamp.
To reduce the impact of static electricity on LED street lamp production, the following measures can be taken:
1, Use anti-static equipment and materials such as anti-static working table and anti-static wrist band during the production process to reduce the generation and conduction of static electricity.
2, Electrostatic protection of LED chips and lamp beads, such as the use of electrostatic protection packaging materials, electrostatic eliminators, etc., in order to prevent electrostatic damage to the chip and lamp beads.
3, In the assembly process of LED street lights, strengthen electrostatic protection measures, such as using electrostatic protection floor, electrostatic protective clothing, etc., in order to reduce the interference of static electricity to the assembly process.
4, Control humidity: keep the humidity of the production environment within the suitable range, usually between 40% and 60%, to reduce the generation and accumulation of static electricity.
5, Electrostatic eliminator: the electrostatic eliminator is used in the production process to neutralize the static electricity by releasing the opposite charge to reduce the influence of static electricity.
6, Grounding system: ensure that the production equipment and the working table have a good grounding system, and introduce static electricity into the ground to reduce the accumulation of static electricity.
7, Electrostatic electricity dissipation floor: use static electricity to dissipate the floor, can effectively import static electricity into the ground, and reduce the accumulation of static electricity.
8, Electrostatic monitoring instrument: use static monitoring instrument to monitor the static electricity in the production environment, and take corresponding measures in time to prevent the accumulation of static electricity.
To sum up, static electricity will have a series of negative effects on the production of LED street lamps, but by taking corresponding protective measures, the impact of static electricity on LED street lamps can be effectively reduced, and the quality and performance of LED street lamps can be improved.
