How To Develop Better Outdoor LED Lights

Heat refers to how heat dissipation, LED light source is sensitive to heat, so how to dissipate the heat in LED lighting design is one of the key. Light refers to the light optics, the LED light through the reflector or lens design to achieve the need of light distribution curve. Semiconductor refers to the LED chip, LED is semiconductor technology will involve in semiconductor manufacturing and packaging, but most are outsourcing the encapsulated LED chips like Osram, Cree and Lumileds, then assembly in lamps. Only with the organic combination of these five aspects can we design a good lighting product;
Product development can be divided into five stages: Defining the product, conceptual design, specific product design, implementation and product release.
When defining a product, try to collect the product requirements, including the specific parameters, light distribution requirements, appearance requirements, installation environment, installation mode, lifespan and certification requirements, also analyze similar product lines of rival products.
In the conceptual design stage is required to design different appearances for option, make the product design failure mode analysis, have the basic assembly drawings, and select the supply chain, as well as screen the patent of the techniques used in the design, which is critical, because there are too many patents involved in LED product design, it is an essential to screen patents one by one. Then assembling the product parts to verify whether the design meets the requirements.
After verifying the design, we can start the specific design of the product, prepare tools for the lighting components, and make the product specifications, which should be described in detail, this stage is required to apply for the corresponding certification, to complete the product testing and packaging labels, etc.
In implementation stage is required to approve the final product sample, complete the final product specification sheet, and conduct assembly failure mode analysis.
After the relevant certification of the product is completed, the product can be released.
